CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Propose Workshops or Sessions for ISPRM 2018.

Proposal submission deadline: Monday, 27 November 2017

 

The requirements for LONG WORKSHOP proposals are as follows:

  • A brief description of the workshop (max. 250 words) for evaluation purposes only. 
  • 1 chair minimum, with up to 2 chairs. 1-5 speakers per workshop. The chair and co-chair may be chosen from the speakers.
  • The proposal submitter should receive the acceptance of every speaker in their session prior to submission.
  • Long Workshops are 4 hours in length and will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018.

The requirements for SHORT WORKSHOP proposals are as follows:

  • A brief description of the workshop (max. 250 words) for evaluation purposes only. 
  • 1 chair minimum, with up to 2 chairs. 1-4 speakers per workshop. The chair and co-chair may be chosen from the speakers.
  • The proposal submitter should receive the acceptance of every speaker in their session prior to submission.
  • Short Workshops are 60 minutes in length and will be held every morning at 07:30 between Monday, July 9 – Thursday, July 12, 2018.

The requirements for Special Session proposals are as follows:

  • A brief description of the session (max. 250 words) for evaluation purposes only. 
  • 1 chair minimum, with up to 2 chairs. 2-3 speakers per session. The chair and co-chair may be chosen from the speakers.
  • The proposal submitter should receive the acceptance of every speaker in their session prior to submission.
  • Special sessions are 90 minutes in length. However, 30 minutes of this session must be kept free for the allocation of oral abstract presentations.
  • Suggested presentation title for each suggested speaker.

Please note that all speakers and chairs of Scientific Sessions and Workshops that are proposed and accepted through this submission system are responsible for covering the costs of their own registration, accommodation, and travel. 

Please note further that proposals for privately sponsored sessions or symposia should not be submitted through this system. For information about sponsoring a satellite symposium, please visit the Congress website here.

We thank you for choosing to submit a proposal, which could have a great impact on the quality of the congress. We ask that you please not be disappointed if the scientific committee may not be able to accept your proposal, this will depend largely on amongst other things on the volume of quality proposals received and the availability within the congress programme.
